Robin has always had a close affinity with New Zealand landscapes. Introduced to fishing and boating at the age of four, he has a particular passion for painting landscapes containing a water theme.
Robin starting painting in 1992 at the age of 34, after a fall from a roof left him a paraplegic. In what has been an amazing life journey, the former sheet metal worker recognized his need for a redefinition of his skills. After completing 6 months of painting lessons, Robin found a unique ability and style to express his talents.
Subsequent to winning several competitions, he is finding favor amongst realist collectors in Australia, Canada, England, Germany and New Zealand.
